Deborah Browning:  

I went to URI for 1 1/2 years, did not graduate. Then I got married in 1977 and moved to East Greenwich for a couple years before moving to CT. I worked at the URI Extension office in East Greenwich while I was there. After moving to CT I found I was pregnant. I, however, had a miscarriage, which was devastating to me. We lived in New Britain, CT, not a lovely town at all, where I got pregnant again and had a beautiful baby girl named Rebekah Anne. I worked full time, and got into quilting, knitting, and basket making. That was fun! My husband's name was Jerry Kelley. He grew up in Providence, RI, and was one of 7 children of Paul E. Kelley, an attorney and a public defender for 25 years for the state of RI. Our marriage was not great, and finally divorced in 1999. I have been on my own since then. My daughter graduated 2nd in her high school class, and went to Laselle College in Newton, Mass. She graduate college in 2001, and has lived in the Boston area since then. She is a licensed optician and currently the manager of BJ's optical in Framingham, MA., and very successful in getting that store, and the Newton one in very good sales figures. I am very proud of my daughter, because she is beautiful and smart! In 2008 I lost a very good job, and couldn't get another one, so I moved back to RI with family.
