I am happily married to my best friend and wonderful husband Dave of 29 years. And we have two awesome sons who are United States Marines. Our oldest is married to his second wife and is very happy now. He is a SGt. in the USMC and who has served twice in Iraq and is currently RETIRED Yaaayyy!!! But is looking for a job now. He and my Daughter-in-law and my grand daughter are all safe and sound back in Philly. THEY NOW HAVE A BEAUTIFUL SON WHO HAS MADE THIS FAMILY MORE ROUNDED. HE IS EVERYONES JOY AND MY OLDEST'S LIL MINI ME! HAHA
And my youngest is a Sgt. and has served one tour in Iraq with his squadron VMFA 115. He served at our American Embassy as an Embassy Guard in Caracas, Venezuela. And in Berlin,Germany. HE HAS SEPERATED FROM THE MSG PROGRAM AND HAS TAKEN ON A BRIDE!!! WE LOV...Expand for more
E HER DEARLY AND SHE HAS WON ALL OUR HEARTS OVER SO QUICKLY. NOW THEY HAVE MOVED ON TO LIVE IN THE COLORADO AREA, WHERE MY SON IS LEARNING GUNSMITHING. AND SHE IS GOING TO SCHOOL FOR EMT. THEY HOPE TO FINISH THEIR STUDIES THERE IN THE NEXT TWO YEARS AND MOVE TO SC! WHERE HOPEFULLY THEY CAN START THE FAMILY BUSINESS.. AND SETTLE DOWN! ;P
He has an incredible sense of humor and I just can't seem to stop laughing when he starts telling his stories!
We are so incredibly proud of both of them.
And now about me.... I am still into flowers for those who knew me in high school... yup I'm still doing that. And I am also doing cake decorating too. Not as much as I did when I was younger but I still do it. And for those who knew me in High school and knew about my accident... I am still paralyzed but I am doing well with it. I have lived to tell about it so to speak. God is Good all the Time !!! Amen??? !!! I would certainly not have gotten this far with out Him.
I also was a patient at Shriner's Hospital for almost 1 1/2 years so if there are any old patients out there who were in with me between 1980 - 1981 and early '82 contact me, I would love to hear from you. I am going through major adjusting to a new journey in my life with blindness. I certainly never have an attitude of "i can't do it"! or "I won't! It's just this learning to wait upon others and do things on their time thing.. oh my! i constantly pray "Lord.. PLEASE.. put a hand on my mouth and a calmness in my heart" Let me not speak before I think things through! lol I am so humbled by this new journey HE has put me on now!!!!! I know I can do all things through Christ who strengthen's me! Amen?".
