Deborah's Story
Life
i remember when i was in school, i was really nerdy. if you remember me, debby buzynski, i was going through an exceptionally awkward phase from the age of 10 to 17! i got married at the illegal age of 15 and had a son at 16. i got divorced and met my second husband at the old age of 17! i stayed married until i turned 40, dyed my hair blond lost weight, and the husband!! i have since lived in san diego, and other parts around the metro area. I relocated back to the camden-gloucester county area in january. I am in a band that is based in wildwood, and was living with the drummer/manager of the band. I am the lead singer and the only female in the band of 7 members! talk about a tough life! Unfortunately that relationship didnt work out for me, so I moved from wildwood, back up to westville. I had been commuting for 2 years back and forth 85 miles one way to go to work at my other job! now i only commute to the gigs on the weekends. I love singing- I was always a ham, but nobody knew it. I love being on stage. As far as the rest of my life goes, i have 3 grown children, (both of my sons got married within 4 days of each other last year 7/7 and each got married on the beach! one in north carolina, where he and his wife lives, and one in hawaii!) and my daughter has a 4 year old son. So I am a proud "nana!". even tho i spent most of my adult life raising my children, i have managed to get my associates degree, had my own business . i like my life, and am enjoying my middle age. god has been very kind to me as i was a late bloomer and the years havent caught up to me yet. it would be great to catch up with anyone i used to go to school with. why dont you drop me a line and tell m...Expand for more
e how you are and what you have been doing?
.......As a postscript to this story, that was written about 5 years ago... since that time,I wound up moving to San Diego in 2008 and missed my kids and grandkids too much, so I moved back. Now I am in Woodbury, and have gotten involved with a smaller 3 pc. group. We arent as busy, but there's not as much drama, either! haha
I am also a rep for Proctor and Gamble.
Decidedly still single....Can't handle any more drama on that end either anymore.
Life is funny-boy, it does seem to move faster as we get older!!!
School
when i was in h.b.wilson, the teacher i loved the most was ms. bonsall(i hope i spelled it right!) in 4th grade.she was so easy going and unfortunately she was the last teacher i ever liked in school, until i went to college. i remember mrs lisa was always pms ing!! mrs, burrell was not exactly friendly, either. i remember in 6th grade i,like every female in my class had a crush on joey callahan. the thing i remember the most, unfortunately was all the days i spent hiding in the bathroom so i wouldnt get beat up . i didnt fit in, and every one used me as a punching bag so they could put a notch in their belt in their own personal popularity conquest.it traumatized me so much that i wore black all the time and stopped reaching out to people for a long time. i even quit school at 15. it took me a long time to get over what i went through but i did come out of it okay and actually went from the ugly duckling to the swan......................somehow i slipped throught the cracks,as far as my parents went, but i made sure my kids had a support system so it wouldnt happen to them, and i want to be there for my grandson too.
