Deborah's Story
Life
After graduating in 1968 from RHS, I attended & graduated from Cosmetology School in Iowa, where I passed & received my Iowa license. I worked in & owned a beauty salon in Iowa until moving to Colorado in 1985. I do currently have my Colorado Cosmetology license, altho I have chosen to not to pursue that career full-time. I do have a small shop in my basement, and do occasional requests, but prefer not to practice that fulltime.
I have a son, born in 1981 who is very gifted in computers. I've learned a lot from him! At age 10 he was bored one day and sat down and read a "MS-DOS" book, (and understood it!) and ...Expand for more
that started his obsession with computers.
After being divorced several years and raising my son alone, I married my wonderful current husband in 1994.
I have been active in my church music dept wherever I have lived, and that has involved singing, playing piano and/or organ, as well as praise teams. I currently am playing the organ at a retirement community chapel service each Sunday morning and enjoying it very much. Music remains a very important part of my life, as well as my husband's life. We may retire somewhere other than Colorado at some point, but we haven't decided where yet. Possibly the mid-west again.
