Deborah's Story
After graduating from high school in 1966, I worked in New York City for about a year before moving to Israel, where I lived in Arad (northern Negev Desert) for 15 months. While in Israel I married a British guy and we moved back to the US when he got accepted at Penn State to do graduate work. We then divorced.
After my divorce I moved to Los Angeles, where I attended law school. I then got a job in Rochester, NY working for a legal publishing company.

e a docent at the Bronx Zoo, and to keep from going bonkers while unemployment I began volunteering at there at the Wildlife Health Center. One thing led to another and for the past 10 years I have been the medical records secretary there.
While a docent I met another docent, and eventually we married (August 2005).
We currently live in the Bronx, New York. However, I plan on retiring in about three years, and we plan on moving to the Berkshires.
