Deborah's Story
Hello to my Classmates from RHS:
My best to each of you and I hope you are doing well! Life has been good to me, and I appreciate the beauty of every day! Since I left RHS in '71, my life has been very full. My most important job has been that of a Mother: I have four fabulous "young adult" kids - the oldest just finished her PhD and she is married and the other three are studying at the University of Buffalo; all four are positive contributing members of society... I'm divorced and I raised my four kids by myself....I have two Masters degrees, started but did not finish my PhD... Last year I retired after teaching High School in the City of Buffalo for 30 years (my 2nd year I did teach at RHS along with "our" teachers and that was so much fun!) When teaching at the high schools, I was also the Prom Advisor, Senior Class Advisor, Cheerleading Coach, etc...I love being retired, ...Expand for more
though, love finally having time for "me"... Years ago I moved from North Buffalo, and for the past 21 years, I have lived in E. Amherst...My new interest is stained and fused glass and I've taken classes at the Corning Museum... I enjoy travel to new places and return trips to favorite spots, most recent trips: England, Italy, Hawai'i...I still keep in close touch with my Omega Sigma Chi sorority sisters... Still enjoy fun, new places and things, music, fashion, art, bright colors, fast cars, intelligent conversation, positive people, and world-wide beaches... Would enjoy hearing from my other classmates, so please write when you can... Saw some of you at our high school reunion 18 years ago, that was alot of fun, wasn't it? .... Will plan another class reunion if some of you will help me to so so... xoxoxo
