Deborah's Story
My maiden name was Freiberg, but my married name is Paisner. My husband Jeff and I've known each other for forty years, and have been married over thirty-five years. We have one daughter, Leah, who is in her third year at The University of Virginia. For over thirty years, I practiced occupational therapy, working with the physically disabled. began taking oil painting lessons. After oil painting two years, I began getting accepted into juried art shows, and was represented by my first art gallery in Santa Fe. Recently, one of my oil paintings, titled "Camino Manzana" was chosen to be on the cover of "Hacienda Magazine" (Parade of Homes). In April 2011, there will be 1,500 copies of this magazine published, and I'll be given a free advertisement inside, created by the magazine staff.
