Deborah's Story
Went to KY right after graduation, was suppose to spend the summer with my Dad...but ended up staying for the next 3 years. Went to work at the Jefferson Co. Courthouse for a couple of years in Probate Court.
I met my husband, Gary Davenport, he was born and raised in KY, we have been together since 1978.
We moved to Kansas to be near my family when I became pregnant with our first child. We have two sons: Jeremy C. Daniel and Matthew G. Steven Davenport.
We moved to GA in the summer of 1986 when Gary was offered a job down here. We have lived in Ga for almost 23 years.
Gary has 2 daughters from his first marriage: Kara and Lisa, they both live in KY. They each have two children, so I am a "Grammy" to: Sierra, Sydney, Michaela and Isaac.
Our oldest son Jeremy, has 2 daughters A'lia Christie(8) and A'rial Kaylynn (4). When it comes to A'lia, he is a single father, he has sole custody of her...no mother in the picture for the most part, I am the closest thing she has to a mother. I absolu...Expand for more
tely ADORE her! Jeremy married and he had A'rial, the marriage did not last more than a year. He is single now.
Both of my sons are musicians, as was my husband for many years. They all three play the drums and guitar.
Jeremy is currently in a band called "Stand Alone" they are really talented and pretty popular locally in Atlanta.
My youngest son, Matthew is still single and has no children. He can play ANY musical instrument he puts his hands on, drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, violin, etc... At the moment he is not in a band...but writes music.
I have been working in Electronics for the past 30 years. Most of the work I do has been for aviation test equipment, commercial and military.
Life has been good for me and my family!
I hope to hear from old friends from school!
My brother Danny, my sister Lisa and I came to VA for Danny and my 20 year HS Reunion in May 1996, it was alot of fun. And we looked up alot of people in the old neighborhood, was surprised how many people still live there!!
