Deborah's Story
Where do I begin?
A lot has happened since 1971 and our class song, "We've Only Just Begun." 🙂
You may recall that classmate, Barry Fodor, and I were dating in high school. Well, later we married. 😍 Happily, this year we celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary. We've been together 54 years. All I can say is it's been G-R-E-A-T to be with and share everything with my soul mate and best friend.
After high school, Barry worked for Ford Motor Company and I worked for Oakwood Hospital Corporation. Barry has a degree in electrical & electronic engineering. My degree is in Human Resources. After 17 years working in Dearborn, we relocated to Redondo Beach, CA. Barry went to work for the Management team at Nissan Motors-USA Corporate Headquarters and I initially for a very large medical group and later a large law firm as Director of Human Resources. After 17 years in CA, in 2006 we relocated to Ashland City, TN (20 min. NW of Nashville). We love it here in TN. This was a Nissan-USA Corporate relocation move. ...As of 2019, Barry & I are both retired & enjoying retirement life.

hospitality and life style ... (there's really no comparison in our minds). The people are exceptionally warm, friendly and giving (they'd give you the shirt off their backs with no hesitation or regrets) and, the wildlife & countryside... it is truly beautiful beyond words. I don't think I've ever seen so many trees. I tell everyone that we live in God's country. 🙂 We have bald eagles, hawks, geese, owls, wild turkeys, deer, and lots of other wildlife cruising through our 5 acre property. The feral cats that we feed are always chasing something...there's never a dull moment. 🤣
We are sorry to have missed a couple class reunions as it would have been great to see everyone. We were able to attend a few of the first reunions as well as the most recent 45th & 50th reunions. We had a wonderful time at all we've attended.. Perhaps we will be able to attend the next time everyone gets together for the ....God willing. 🙏🙏🙏s Take good care everyone, We hope to see many of you again...hopefully at the next reunion!! 🤩 D&B P.S.
