Life
My life is best described by relationships and geography. Yes, I did marry Jerry Larson a year after graduation and moved to Minnesota. And five years after that, we got divorced. (You KNEW it wouldn't last, right?) I was married to Chuck McGrath for more than 13 years, during which I escaped the tundra to beautiful southwest Virginia. g in Helsinki, Finland -- then back to SW Virginia. I've now been married to Ken Brummel for 17 years (6 in south-central Pennsylvania, 6 in east-central Virginia, 5 in northeast Tennessee), and I've quit trying to predict the future -- one day at a time. We have a 16-year-old son named Caleb, who is gorgeous and the center of our lives and has multiple disabilities including autism and epilepsy. This further reinforces the one-day-at-a-time perspective on life.
