Deborah's Story
I've lived in Chicago since 1979, having moved here a year after marrying an Amnesty Intl. intern who soon after became a big-firm corporate lawyer. of years ago, a decision that has taken me to some beautiful mountains and canyons, and forests. Meantime, I got my coaching certification and coached a kids' running team for a couple of years. Typically, I spend about a month there every summer, to run, hike, read, write, and see friends. I belong to a Zen sangha in Chicago and go on retreat at a zendo in the southwest for a couple of weeks in the summer as well. Other than canvassing for Obama, I've not been politically active, but that could easily change....get out there and vote!
