Deborah's Story
Ran off to SF with the Dead in 1971. Ran off to London in 1978. Headed back to SF in 1981, toddler daughter in tow. Married very cool bassplayer. On 15 August 2023, we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and are finishing the mastering of our band's, The Sound Field, third CD, "The View From Here". We also sold our house in San Francisco and bought land in Marin County. We're building a house and, hopefully a recording studio.
Wrote books: My eleventh novel, the first JP Kinkaid Chronicle, Rock & Roll Never Forgets, St. Martin's Minotaur, came out July 2008 to rave reviews; There are eight of the Kinkaids total, and they're being pitched for a television series. I'm about two thirds of the way through the final Kinkaid.

UPDATE: Our band, The Sound Field, goes into Ice House Studios in San Rafael, CA, this Tuesday morning to begin tracking. Mark Karan will be producing and adding guitar. We have some interesting people lined up to contribute their chops.
Updated update: The Sound field's second CD, "This Moment Of The Storm", is due out within the month. Return guests include David Lindley.
I should also mention that I'm my thirteenth year of a relapsing/remitting multiple sclerosis diagnosis. I was interviewed for a documentary recently. Also became a grandmother on 1 January 2015. Rock on, granddaughter Noelle Brown!
