Deborah's Story
Hard to believe 39 years ago the class of 1971 graduated. So many names I recognize here on 'Classmates'. Once I left the graduation ceremony didn't look back at Brandon High. Haven't attended a class reunion, never heard where. Here I am on Classmates. Strange how life comes full circle. This is what happen after I graduated.
Sine I was a wild child in high school, jumped on the tail end of the hippie movement. Didn't last long. However, for older age provides some fun memories.
Got married in 1972. Was married for 34 years. A power greater than us ended the marriage. Had a daughter in 1973 and a son in 1975. They have blessed me with 6 wonderful grandchildren.
Stayed around Brandon till 1990. Moved to Knoxville, TN and made a life. About a year after my husbands death felt the need to come back to my roots. So here I am back in FL.

y hard at it. Became an Accountant. Made some great strides in my field and accomplished high corporate status. Who would of ever thought this would be where I ended up? Barely passed in my business courses in high school.
Have fond memories playing in the outstanding band at Brandon HI. Those of us that played, were extremely lucky to have Mr. James. A lot of hard work and sweat went into playing. In the end the feeling of accomplishment.
Those of you that are going to the 'Clair Mel Reunion' April 2010 at Cedar Key, looking forward to seeing you again. We were a group within ourselves.
Still best friends with my childhood friend, Rhonda Ferry. We were a duo all the way from elementary. Nice to know we are still best friends.
Those that stop by, hello. Isn't it so great that we have made it this far? Looking back we have lost many of our fellow classmates.
