Life Hi all 1969 classmates: Hi all - It's now 2009 - this is an update to my life - moved home to South Jersey (Lanoka Harbor) in 2007! Was having an extremely horrible time in Florida while waiting for my disability case...won that finally!!! My very dear friends here, Pat and Terry urged me to come home which has been the best thing I could've done. I left my long time friend which is a long, long story. I have picked up knitting and now belong to a knitting group here in town (we call ourselves The Yarn Dolls)! Love reading and walking on the beach (when my feet behave) LOL It's great to be home in Jersey again. UPDATE: Fast forward to 2021: Life has had its ups and downs - a lot of medical issues - and met a wonderful man in 2016 whose name is George and we've been together ever since thru my ups & down as well as his, his being bone cancer (Mylenoma) which was beaten (Thank God)!!! Life is Great and hope that maybe we will be able to attend the next Reunion!!! THAT'S THE LATEST UPDATE FROM DEBBI (RILES) PURKALL, MAY, 2021 A little about myself since graduating: I acquired a job in NY for a shipping company and worked there 12 years; then was lucky to get a job in NJ for a ship supply company (cruise ships) and worked there until 1999 when it closed its Jersey office and was transferred to Florida to become their Office Mgr/Purch.Dept.Supervisor. I worked here until 2005 when I was forced to quit due to a health problem.
