Deborah's Story
It's been so fun to connect again w/ so many from school. Suppose I should start w/ that I was married to Loren Snell for 13 yrs. I have a son and a daughter, 15mos. apart! I remarried in 1990, which took us 6mos later to Atlanta,GA. Bob is a Broadcast Engineer who has worked for the networks. Loved Atlanta and the culture, but soon we were in Austin, TX., another culture adjustment. So when it came time to plant in San Antonio w/ USAA, the move was smooth. Now I love it here, very diversed culture, laid back, and lots to do. The children live in Austin, so we get to do even more there. Son works for Dell, Daughter is a Dentist. One TX Tech Raider, and one A&M Aggie. at opposite ends of the state. These were great times!

aide, and also in Austin. Now talk about the differences in education from the west to east to south. I soon left the school system. I went to college to become a sonographer, but in TX at the time, I had to become a radioloy tech, first. I worked for the Methodist Health care system. I was working in a transplant hosp for kidneys, liver, pancreas, and it was so fascinating and rewarding. I had to have a surgery which left me not able to lift over 40#, so bye,bye, career in medical. So I have enjoyed settling into our downsized home, and traveling, a lot to the gulf, where a friend owns a motel, I even worked a summer season in Steward, AK :). Bob is 10yrs ahead of me, so its that time to face retirement prep.
I have a grandson, and my son's wedding is in Oct. I am still considering the reunion, but please know my thoughts will surely be there the day of it.
