Deborah's Story
Hope all my friends from High School are doing well. I am doing very well. My health is great and as you can see from my photo I still have those chubby cheeks. My daughter LeAnn now 22 will be attending Nursing school this spring. She graduated cum sum laud from Suny New Paltz just this past summer was excepted at the same college for her masters degree but opted out. As you can see I am very proud of her. My son certainly is giving me a run for my money. He graduated this past June from Minisink High School and is currently attending Orange County Community College for Architectural Technology. He says he doesn't want to be a chip off the old block (his dad is Senior Investigator with the NYS Police). He wants to make the big bucks. He is really awesome at skateboarding and does exceptionally well at snowboarding. He is a self taught electric guitar player. proud of them. I basically raised my children by myself not by chose. At the time my husband worked in NYC undercover narcotics. He worked there for 11 years, which were the very important years for my children. I know my husband regrets it but that's in the past and we try to move on and make the best of it. My husband worked for one whole month right after 9 11. Not by chose but once again he found himself working in NYC. He worked right at ground zero. He now suffers from the lung disease which afflicts many police officers and firefighters not to mention the many people who lived and worked around ground zero. He is now supervisor of the violent, felony, warrant arrest team. I admire him for his courage to go out there in the worse places to arrest these people. He has 31 years on the job and I have been with him for 30 of those years. It takes a special women to be a cops wife. I love him dearly and wouldn't change my life, past or present for the world.
