Deborah's Story
Hi! I have been wanting to take time to find old friends and plan to attend the next class reunion since I lost contact since high school. I graduated with a Master's degree from Southern Illionois University and started my HR career at the University. I married in 1980 and had a girl and boy. We came to Maryland in the late 80s. My daughter now lives in venice, CA and is in the entertainment business....Expand for more
My son lives in Boca Raton, FL and is pursuing a commercial real estate career. I am now divorced and in a career transition. During the budget process this year (2010), I identified my own position for elimination. Yes, this was a crazy thing to do but the right thing to do. I am now living a much more balanced life and doing consulting and getting ready to launch my job search for a senior HR role.
