Deborah's Story
Deborah is originally from Sonora, California. Deborah's schools include Stagg High School. She later attended the Universitiy of California at Berkeley (Cultural Anthropology) and UC Davis for a social sciences teaching credential. She is now happily retired. She loves to hike, kayak, and to travel. She is currently studying Spanish, writing poetry, and reading the poetry of Octavio Paz with the hope of "going nati...Expand for more
ve" in Mexico for several months each year!
She was married for 37 years to Jonathan Hickerson, the father of her two sons. Jonathan sadly died last year from ALS. It's been an intense year. But, with the support and love of family and friends she is making her way in this new world she's found herself in. She shares her home with her cat, Prince Charming. She would love to hear from other Stagg High classmates.
