Deborah's Story

Life Hmm well what to say about my life....2005 is proving to be a very trying year for me. My mom passed away two days after Christmas this past year. It has been a hard and long road and right now there is no end in sight. Hmm what else....I have a dog his name is Gizmo. He is my kid, for now. I just live life everyday to the fullest because we are never guaranteed a tomorrow..... like the song says "Live like you were dying". Uh that is all I can think of for now. If anyone is interested in emailing me it is ddrehman at cfl dot rr dot com. School Hmm Well to say school for me was very interesting would be putting it mildly. I had a fair share of friends but I was also picked on quite a bit. Back then I was shy and would let that get to me, now I don't let it bother me. I have come into my own you could say. Hmm let's see my favorite teacher was my marine biology teacher Mr. Holfelder. He was new when I had him and he was a good teacher and a better perso...Expand for more
n. I saw him a few years ago and he is an EMT now. I had a lot of good friends in high school and my best friend Daneshia I am still in contact with. Um the biggest thing I did in high school was paint a mural in the 100 building but the school looks so different now. My step sister is attending Boone now, so I get to go back there and see the changes. I guess all in all I would not change that much other than being more open and less shy. I would probably also have realized that the real world is a little harder than school. :o) College I want to go back to college, I didn't get to go the first time because life got in the way! Workplace I started working when I was 13 and I worked at a dry cleaners, when I moved from Orlando I got a job with Winn Dixie and rose the ranks to assistant store manager. I went back to the cleaners and worked there as an assistant manager until 2002 when I was hurt on the job. It is an injury that has ended my career path for now.
