My Job
I am currently an embroidery shop owner. I had to change careers after a serious injury suffered while working on a small airplane. I attended the 2003 reunion wearing a wrist brace for a "sprain" that actually was a dislocation and serious damage. After two surgeries put an end to my career as an aircraft mechanic I stumbled in the embroidery business. My husband Rolando is still with Texas Depart...Expand for more
ment of Public Safety and both daughters are still in the Army. Yolanda - 26 is a Blackhawk helicopter mechanic and crewchief and will be deploying to Iraq again in May. Miriam - 23 is a Military Police officer and is married to Dan, who is an investigator with the Department of Army Police. They have two children, daughter Zia - 2 and son Gage - 3 weeks old. Grandma and Grandpa are just silly about their babies!
