Debra's Story
Life
I married Dave Ryan who graduated from Kelly in 1973. We married three days after I graduated in June of 74. We have one son born in February 1978. In September of 78 Dave had a horrible accident which left him paralyzed from the chest down at the age of 24, Jason was only 7 months old. We moved back from Matoon IL to Chicago and have been there ever since. Our lives took a dramatic change since then. er lives, wishing they would grow up to be healthy happy adults. I believe that's what we were meant to do. The boys have all grown into fine young men and are still in touch with us to this day. Dave and I have two beautiful grandaughters Addy born 2004 and Allison born 2006 and one handsome grandson Jack born November 2008. We still live in the old neighborhood near Kelly. Moving is an option but not likely with the economy the way it is. That's us in a nut shell since Kelly.
