Debra's Story

Went to Virginia right after graduation to work in a government job. Didn't like it so got some training in keypunch and went to work for Allegheny Airlines. Married in 1977 to Rob Norfolk from Arlington Virginia. Have 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. Divorced in 1987 and moved back to West Virginia with kids for good. Have worked in accounting field for about 30 years now...Expand for more
. Kids are all grown up and I remarried (Jerry Sams from Clay county) in 1995. We have a total of 10 grandchildren now between us and I returned to college in Jan 2004. I now have an Associates in Accounting from WVSCTC and a Regents Bachelor of Arts from WVSU. I am currently working for myself with a small tax and accounting service I operate from my home in Charleston.
