I moved to Orange County right after High School and for those of you who knew me as the shy girl, a lot has changed! I met a lot of nice people and somehow became more popular than I ever wanted to be. Still, it was a great experience. I performed a lot with my guitar and singing, to crowds of several thousand. I stayed there for around three years, working and enjoying Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. They were both just a few blocks from my home and I dated people that worked there so there were lots of free visits to the attractions there. I later moved to Provo, Utah to go to school at Brigham Young University, where I studied Physics and Clothing Design. It was a wonderful time for me, and there was a lot to do and lots of great people to hang out with. I later got a job at Signetics Semiconductor that lasted for around 15 years. My favorite job there was in the Ion Implant area where I was Lead Operator. I took some on-site statistical control courses and was able to save the company many thousands of dollars due to a couple of studies I did using statistical controls, and reporting my findings. I got married and have 5 children now ages 21 through 32. My children are all musicians, artists, and speak more than one language. Three are college graduates, three are married and two have been full time missionaries in foreign countries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. One is getting ready to leave to serve the Lord for 2 years. We are hoping for another foreign country. The languages spoken by my family are Spanish, English, Tagalog, Arabic, Hungarian, and one of my sons is also studying Welsh Gaelic, Portuguese and Chinese.
