Life My Spouse I met my husband, Lonnie Strickland on a blind date. We kind of knew each other from school. He was in college taking data entry and I was in high school taking clerical practice. Our classrooms were adjoined by a small machine room which both classes used. He thought I was silly and mad faces at me, I thought he was a jerk. He sat next to my boyfriend at the time and I always told my boyfriend I loved this particular car that my boyfriend always parked next to. My boyfriend and I broke up right before senior prom and a I did not date until the blind date after graduation where I met my husband.
