Debra's Story
I've been from Anaheim to Cucamonga to Santa Cruz (for 24 years) to Reno (10 years now). Still tryin' to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I smoke good cigars, drink, and eat red meat. I've been married and have divorced them three times ~ don't get me wrong, I LOVE!!! men, just not too thrilled with living with them. Never wanted any children, and by conscious choice never had any. Somewhere along the line I accidentally became a paralegal and have been for about 25 years, currently working in construction defect representing poor mistreated homeowners against big bad developers. I think I've finally reached and outgrown puberty, I seem to now have more chins than breasts!
Was in the old neighborhood last weekend (5-23-09). Drove by Katella, OMG, it used to look so large and now it's so very small! Visited my folks in Fullerton, took a cruise out to Cook's Corner on my broth...Expand for more
er's Springer Softail. He's in the Army Rangers in Afghanistan so it's temporarily in the folks' garage. No matter your politics, we still need to support our troops. I don't usually deign to be seen driving a Harley... I have my own BMW K75 motorcycle at home which is much more reliable and of course sexier, but alas, had no choice.
Ran into a fellow alum on the plane on the way home, so came home and looked at my old yearbooks, haven't looked at them in years. Of course we all look as well as, if not better, than we used to. But really, who are all these people? Was I really there?
I've been selfishly indulgent all my life, have been fortunate to do some exciting things like operating the largest 'dozer in the world. Been to Burning Man for 11 years. Traveled to the Carib and Europe, as well as regularly in Mexico. I'll post some pics now and then. If you're ever in Reno look me up!
