Debra's Story
Life
My Kids
Thank God, they're grown. And they are still alive, so I did my job. It is so strange they make the same mistakes I did. And just like kids, they won't learn from their parent's mistake, they just have to learn from their own mistakes. HMMMMMM, I think I said that to my mom and dad.
My Job
I am an RN in a local prison. Started in 2001. It's run much like High School. They are told when to eat, when to sleep, when to study, when to break, what to think, how to act, and they misbehave, they get to go to the warden. LOL. See what I mean. It's a different kind of nursing job, but by far the most challanging, and I have almost done it all.
Short History

23 years. Three grandchildren. Second marriage....a mistake. 'Nough said. In a relationship now of four years, no marriage, and it's working great. I love to fish, motorcycle, gamble (yes I have a problem), dance (country and western), and I hunt every season in New Mexico and Texas. Favorite game meat is Orix, elk, and antelope.
Future
I plan to work a few more years, then hope to retire. Would love to travel. Have a 3/4 ton pickup and a fifth wheel trailer, but drive a Mustang for just getting around.
UPDATE
Married the long long term relationship. I have four grandsons. I work in the local hospital. No longer have the Mustang, my husband bought me a truck, very practicle for this area. Much nicer than the "Stang".
