Debra's Story
After a few years at Michigan State, changing my major every semester, I got married and moved to Tucson (it's a dry heat, like a blowtorch). I have two daughters, Sarah and Audrey.
I went back to school at the University of Arizona and got divorced between my Bachelors and Masters degrees. In a step up from my first job at Chicken Delight (on Mack at Warren), I've worked as a corporate financial accountant for 15 years and now I teach accounting at the community college here in Tucson.

he cut. I swim laps all the time here and I think I could make the team now. I have hiked the Grand Canyon, down the south rim and out the north rim, twice. (There will be no third time.)
I still miss the seasons, real green grass (you can buy the articificial stuff here to put in your backyard, but that really seems like cheating!), trees with leaves that can change colors, snow falling and ice skating at Balduck Park and Belle Isle. Detroit is still home. It's where I did most (?) or some (?) of my growing up and I do love coming back for my reunions.
