Debra's Story
Life
I was always the one who was so happy and cheerful all the time and one of those you'll talked about being pregnant again, but the key was I was already married and had a son already..The wildest thing I did in high school was not only still so private I can't relate it now and/or the time my cousin gave me a concoction of drugs and I was too high to be in class and didn't know what hit me until my husband and my mom showed up to take me home.I was more mature than the most of you. I already had a home of my own and a husband away in the Armed Services (U.S.Army). I was the biggest one in the Pep Squad. I sang in Concert Choir and Mixed Chorus.. I was also a member of the Honor Society, Art Club and on the Newspaper Staff, remember I handled the gossip column with the tribute to the Senior Class in the Senior Paper titled "Keep Your Head To The Sky", that Debra Johnson changed the last name to hers and took credit for and the only Senior to take P.E. Senior year, even though I was pregnant. Life has had it's ups and downs, yet, it's been rather interesting...My life now is so beautiful, because I'm so Blessed to still be alive and well... God Bless You All!! Spiritual Bliss aka DaSpyda....Debra (Phillips) Rogers

t City/Del City. Okla, small town in Ohio; Katy, Texas; Yuma, Arizona, Surprise, Arizona and to home and back to Phoenix , Arizona, a few other places, I can't remember right now. The tornado made me move from Midwest City/Del City, OK area the last time I lived there and being a military dependent wife of a husband in the Army, I moved all over the place. Not to mention my kids, grandkids and my two brothers are ex-Marines and they came here first; my immediate family is here.
I always wanted to be a social worker when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I pray, surf the net, write short stories, send letters of hope and strength to members of incarceration, or spend quality time with my grown kids and my grandbabies, especially the four I have custody of.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have peace, quiet, and my prozac to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My hero has always been my grandmother on my mom's side and my older brother who always gave me challenges to work towards.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Wyvinna Moore, because she was my very best friend..
Getting to become a mother all over again to four of my grandchildren, three girls and a teenage boy.
