Debra's Story
I left school and got married to Mike Caberson. We had a little girl on July 30, 1974. Her name was Ragen Marie Caberson. Mike and I divorced in 1978. I went and obtained my GED in April of 1979. I worked for the Asbury Park Board of Education as the Secretary to the Vice Principal at Asbury Park High School. In 1983, my daughter and I moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I got a job with a local municipality in November of 1983. In March of 1997, Ragen passed away from complications she developed from a congenital heart condition she had since birth called Marfan's Syndrome. er 1997 to Keith Kilgore. Well, that marriage didn't last long. Keith was a recovering alcoholic who soon after we married started drinking again which also led to drugs. Thing became violent at home so I left in March of 1999 and we divorced in August that same year. I decided to go back to school and in May of 2004 I graduated with my Bachelor's in Business Management. Before I graduated from school I retired from my job with full benefits after 20 years of service and moved to West Palm Beach. Currently, I live in a beautiful house in a gated community on a lake with my 2 small dogs, 2 cats and a quaker parrot.
