Debra's Story

Life Reas and I were high school sweethearts and got married a month after I graduated. He had graduated from Cleveland the year before. At our rehearsal, the day before our wedding, Reas received his draft notice. A month later he was at Fort Ord in Northern California. With orders for Viet Nam he was re-routed to Korea after the spy ship Pueble was captured. Spending the first year and a half of our marriage apart was interesting!! d continued to add on for many years!! We have lived in California, in the San Fernando Valley for most of our lives. We spent 4 years in Arizona and a year in Petaluma, CA and a year in Oregon. Now we live in Utah! Reas has been in constuction and I have been in accounting. Reas turned 60 this year and prefers to spend his time golfing rather than building!! We still have friends in the valley that we visit, but it's getting harder to go back there because so much has changed!
