Debra's Story
The only thing anyone needs to know about me, what I am doing etc. is goggle this: Quilt the Walls, Etc.
I am a fiber artist, I create Fabric Landscapes ....Color With A View! Have been doing this since 1993. My work has been exhibited at Ceres Gallery in NYC and the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center in Baker City, OR. The Textile Center and Minnetonka Center for the Arts (RIdgedale Location) have select Fabric Landscapes available for purchase year round. Also, I participate in local art fairs, notably St. Anthony Park Art Fair, Loring Park Art Festival, Centennial Lakes Fall Into the Arts in Edina and the Landmark Center Holiday Bazaar in December.

the Arts and become an Artist 20 -40 years ago, I would not have believed it. But moving to the Twin Cities, has opened so many oppurtunities for me and I finally have found my passion. Not to mention meeting many artists of various mediums, some of which have become my closest friends.
My husband John and I have been married since 1983. We didn't have kids. Sometimes I feel as both of us never left our 30's, because we have been free to explore non-typical activiites of people in their 60's. He is an excellent drummer and has been a member of several bands ranging from today's rock to the blues. Both of us are more into what younger people do than what our generation is doing. Maybe that's why we sometimes have to stop and think what age we are.
