Debra's Story
Life
Hi, I have had a pretty interesting life. Pretty much got married right out of school and had my daughter. Then I had a boy 20 months later. Got a divorce. Met another jerk, lived with him for a while and had another son. I am now married to a great guy. We have our own business as contractors for FedEx. We have 3 routes. I used to work all the time but it got to be too much. Now we just hire guys to drive for us and I work part-time. My kids are 16, 14, and 11, respectively. They are "at that age" now where they need me to be home more and supervise so they don't screw up their lives. HEHEHEHE.
Update, we are selling our last remaining Fed Ex route. Not sure what we will venture into next. I am now attending Urbana University as an Accounting major. Been doing it forever for our business so thought I might as well make it official. My daughter made me a very young Grandma, she had a little girl, Kayleigh Sue. She is 3 months old. She is my baby!!! Like her better tha...Expand for more
n my own kids!! She can go home to her mommy and daddy when she misbehaves and be their problem!! As far as my children go, I have the boys left at home. The youngest boy is 15 and the oldest boy finally made it to the magical age of 18!!! No longer responsible for his little problems!!! HE IS AN OFFICIAL ADULT!!!!!
School
Biggest crush was Mike Jung at Northwestern. No matter who was in my life, he always had my heart!!!! Cried for months when he got married!!!
I loved a lot of my teachers but Mr. Fetty and Mr. Mollett at Schaefer Middle School and Mr. Willetts at South really made me take a look and learn a lot about myself and to think about things to change my life and not make me feel so crazy.
If I could I would do a lot of things differently but I guess that is an old adage, I have a few regrets but in the long run, I learned a lot of valuable lessons that made me become a better adult.
Way too many funny and crazy memories of school to even pick out just one!!!
