Life Hummm, what have I been doing since high school, a million years ago? How did we get this old? I got a B.A. degree in history, right out of high school,moved to Switzerland for 1 year and then basically did nothing with my degree! Got married when I was about 28, husband went to law school while we were having kids-that was not easy! I had my son, Travis when I was 30, daughter Jaclyn when I was 33. My husband Spencer has been an attorney for many years now. I went back to school when the kids were little and got a degree in nursing (yep, nothing to do with history!). My son Travis was in the Marine Corps and had two tours of duty in Iraq, actually he was involved in the initial invasion and also the Battle of Fallajuh (spelling?), it was the most stressful and difficult time of my entire life. He is out of the Corps now and came back physically intact, which I will be grateful for the rest of my life. My daughter Jaclyn is attending college in Aberdeen Scotland, studying computer science. She is freezing her butt off but loves it there. Mom and Dad are painfully footing the bill for foreign tuition and all living costs plus rent, ouch! Have you seen the dollar to the pound conversion?
