Debra's Story
Life
I am now a stay-at-home mother of 3 beautiful girls ages 16, 13, and 11 years old (and they are all like me so watch out world!) with our VERY ABSOLUTE LAST child (Had Jamie fixed to be sure) being a BOY! FINALLY! He is 9 years old. All of the girls are in Honors/AP classes and are trying to graduate high school with at least 24 college credits.
I have been married since April 5 1997 to a wonderful Naval Chief Petty Officer (Retired.) We are retired in San Antonio TX and will be here for the next 3 years or so, at least until the eldest graduates from High School. Though he is retired now, he is STILL deployed to ...Expand for more
Afghanistan... money is better on the oustide though.
Despite his constant deployments (8 out of 15 years of marriage he has been gone) we are still as happy as the day we got married. I often joke that if it weren't for deployments, we would be divorced by now. As soon as we start working each other's nerves, he gets deployed! Just joking though. He is perfect... does dishes and laundry, brings me flowers for no reason at all, gets my jokes and sense of humor, and he puts the toilet seat down! What more can a girl ask for?
My personal motto is that I help others every chance I can because someone helped me once.
