Life
What happened to Debbie Hedrick? I left Benicia High in the middle of 11th grade and went to Martinez. Graduated early and moved to Santa Barbara for 4 years. My now husband James Vant (85) came down a few times to visit and I then moved back to Northern Ca and moved in with my Dad. 1 year later Jim and I got married. 6 years later we had our 1st son. Jim worked at United Airlines and I worked as a Medical Assistant.
We lived in Benicia at first then moved to Hayward for over 2 years to be closer to Jims work. We finally settled in Suisun where we bought a house in 93.
We have 2 beautiful boys. Timothy 8 and Sammy 3 1/2. We also have 3 dogs. German short hair pointer (Jim hunts birds), Sheltie (he is old) and a tea cup poodle (my dog and she is so small we dont consider her a dog. Shes 4 lbs!
We now live in Illinois. Yes Illinois! Jim quit United after over 16 years and we moved here 1 1/2 years ago. We bought an old house and are still in the process of fixing it up. ister out there. The winters are not to bad, we dont get alot of snow. We both love it, its very different, alot slower pace and not crowded. We live in farm country, corn fields everywhere. Our town has only 3500 people. The bigger city, like fairfield in 1/2 hour away. He works at CAT and I'm a stay at home mom. At least until Sammy goes to school which is going to be an extra year since Sammy birth date is Sept 12, Cut off date is the 1st. I miss my parents but we talk often. Dad is still in Benicia, mom in fairfield and my brother and the rest of my family are in different states.
I love to do things with my kids. The summers here are great, everyone is out and about with bikes, rollar blading and of course evening walks. We also have a race track(car) in town so we watch the races sometimes.
Well thats about it. I was curious as to what happened to everyone. I'm still in contact with some friends from high school, Laura Kay Ragsdale or Payne. She lives in Wisconsin, about 2 hours from me. She is also doing really good and has 3 children. I hope to post some pictures soon.
