Dianne's Story
Life
In High School you knew me as Dianne DeCamp. I am now married to Ken he is Kathy Carpenter that graduated with our class older brother. We live in Sonora, CA that is in the Gold Country. We are about 45 minutes outside of Yosemite Valley. We moved from Burbank in 1993. It is a big change from Burbank but we love it here. We have a son Kenny who just graduated from Sonora High School in 2003 and is now living back down in Southern Calif. He is a care provider for the adult mentality challenged most of his clients are late teens early twenties with autism. He loves his work and his clients love him. He is engaged to a wonderful girl named Jacqueline. We are very proud of him. I work for the County of Tuolumne here in the auditors office it is very interesting working...Expand for more
for the government even for a small county. My husband works for one of the School Districts. There are ten school districts up here in a County of only 50 thousand people none of the county is unified. We also have become very involved in the student exchange program. We have had two boys and two girls from Germany they stay for 10 months the entire school year. We have also have had a few boys from Japan but they only stay for 4 weeks. It has been alot of fun and very interesting and rewarding. I also am a coordinator and place students with families if anyone is interested in hosting a student let me know. I also am very involved in Genealogy research it started out as just hobby but has fast become a full time addiction. Well hope to hear from some old friends soon.
