Dee's Story

I moved from Ben Davis in the summer of 1971, after my mom passed away. Dad took a job with John Deere in Columbus, Ohio. I graduated early from Northland High School and went on to Milligan College,in Johnson City, Tn. I attened there two years where I met my husband Charles Fitzsimmons. nah. In 1989 we moved to Charlotte, NC. I have survived cancer twice 1986, and 1992. In 1999, I divorced. I have been at a law firm in Charlotte for 18 years. Both my girls are married and I have two granddaughters, Sierra 9, and Brianna 6. For pleasure I spend time with my grands, read, and help as a mentor in the local cancer chapter.
