Deidre Green:  

When I left Central I went to college at Bowie State College(University now), Married arch rival Gwynn Park all-around sportsman Patrick Green and had two great children, Patrice and Preston. Moved south to Columbia, SC,until 85 and returned home for a year before leaving the country for Greece. Due to terriorism, moved to Italy and remained until 1990. While in SC, became childcare provider and continued in Italy. Provided a service to singl/dual military soliders working shift work. Nurtured and taught 10 children daily until returning home.Used my love of helping out and became volunteer for Army Communtiy Services. Began a Parent Outreach program. Parent to Parent, giving stay at home moms/dads an outlet to talk about issues and opportuntiy to spend quality time with spouse without children touring local Italian sites. I was sent TDY to Germany to speak with the head of all military in the European arenas on the issues the soliders and families faced in the Army. I received numerous awards from Post Command for volunterism including Outstanding Volunteer of the Year and Family of the Year. Upon return to the states, became Kindergarten Assistant in 90-93.
