Deirdre's Story
I went to Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, majoring in Sociology. There I met and married my wonderful husband, Larry, also a student at Pacific....from Helena, Montana. We've been married 45 years! We have three kids and six grandchildren. We currently live in Beaverton, Oregon but spent 17 years in Boston, Ma. We also lived in Wenzhou, China for a year in 2003 and still return there on a regular basis for Larry to advise the University faculty.

My Father was the minister at the College Community Congregational Church in Fresno which he started there in 1956. He is now 95 years old and going strong! He lives in a Retirement Community in Claremont, Ca. We are taking him to Fresno on August 30 to preach in his old church!!
I am currently working part time as an Activity Director at an Adult Care Foster Home and loving every minute of it! Larry is enjoying retirement from College Academic Administration.
