Delio's Story
Well , I got married in April of 1974 to Sally Santiago. Exactly one year latter we were blessed with a beautiful 3lb 11oz little girl. OH Ya, she was a 7 month baby = a premature birth = 31 days in intensive care. SHE MADE IT ! Now She is 34 married 11 years and very happy with husband who she has been with 15+ years & I love him. They gave me 3 grandchildren, My Grand children are such a blessing, the oldest is a girl who is 10, a boy who is 8, & another boy who is 5.
I was young when I got married = I was 19, she was 17. When you get married so young sometimes you grow up and change, as a result of that, my marriage to Sally only lasted till 1981 = 7.5 years or so. We are still friends and raised our daughter with out including her in our departure. She spent at least 50% the year with me. I managed to stayed very close to my daughter even now. AM= after marriage, I moved to Treasure Island , Fl. For 10 years then I moved to St Pete beach for 10 more years. I had a blast I love the single life, the water, boating, fishing¿ I am still single as this allowed me to live out my dreams = traveled pretty much everywhere I wanted to go = The USA/North America but not all of it yet( I saved that for last), I just loved Canada so much I whet there about 18 times, went to upper South America not to crazy about it = they have a very strange government= military run = scary. at least 30 times = mostly Pruett Rico, went to Spain on my 45th Birthday I landed in Madrid & traveled all over northern Spain. If it was not so far I would go to Spain often = I like it there.
I sold my house in St Pete beach in 2001. I moved to Land O lakes, Fl. In 2003 I early retired because of and injury to my back. My parents are both still living, Dad is 83 & Mom is 80, We live together now, if had it my way, I would have my daughter and her family live with me also. Maybe that might happen someday.
I spent my youth having a blast. As for work we had a family business = Body shop, I stayed involved from a distance. I was self-employed most of my life I did independent insurance claim work. I worked life around working and enjoyed living life to it's fullest.
Now as I am a 55 year old single only child, my family comes first, Then who knows¿

Ps; I did not finish High School at HHS, I GED at Buffalo adult,
although my heart is with BIG RED.
Then I spent about 20 years in the Body Shop industry, then went back to school=CPCU at American Ins. Institute
Photo is from 2001, I am a lot heavier now, only a fool would not build a shed over his tools. The tan has faded, and a my hair is salt and pepper = graying , but I still have my hair. Oh and the sunglasses now are clear for vision. No recent photo's alone. I recently joined Facebook = you can send me a note there.
