After HS I searched for employment and found work, finally in 1976 in a factory building smoke detectors. It was there I met my husband Wayne and we had our first date in February 1977. We married in May 1982, moved to Granite, CO in July 1982, had one child Erik in January 1986, moved to Buena Vista, CO in July 1986 and have been here since. I have also worked at a cardboard manufacturing plant in Golden, at a used car dealership in Lakewood, bank in North Denver, guest ranch near Granite, Marriott in Vail, roller skating rink, elementary school and High Country Bank in Buena Vista. My brother passed away in September 1981, lost my Dad in May 1996, Mom in 2012 and most recently my husband in July 2013. I'm sure most friends knew I was adopted. In 1990 I asked the court that my records be unsealed. I spoke to my Birth Mother Rita in June 1990, and Birth Father Ed in August. I finally saved enough to visit them, they both lived in the Baltimore, MD area in May 1992. I found out I have a sister Karen (dads) and 2 brothers, Eddie (dads) and Tony (mom). I did have another sibling, Lil Rita but she passed away in 1986 or so of complications due to down's syndrome. Ed passed away in 1994 and Rita in 2006.
