Delores's Story
I have been married to my husband Ron for 41 years. He also graduated from Lakewood in 1965. We have two children, Dionne and Rory. We have have a grandson, Alex, who will be three in October.
We love to camp and cruise. I was a stay at home mom. I now do volunteer work at a senior center in Norwalk and also for the Girl Scout council in Long Beach.
Life in general is great. I am also an Ovarian Cancer Survivor of 3 1/2 years. Hurray!!!!!!!

My biggest joy is spending time with my Grandson. We waited a long time for him. My Daughter was 36 when she had him. He is our only biological grandchild. My son-in-law has 2 children by a previous marriage. They are 23 and 20 and he has a granddaughter who is 1. So, I guess that means actually that I have 3 grand children and 1 great grandchild.
My grandson, Alex was our biggest surprise in our lives. We had resigned ourselves to the fact that we weren't going to have any grandchildren.
