Demetris's Story
Life
Well, I'm married I have 2 kids (girls) and a step son. I still live in Chicago (westside!!!) and I work for the State of IL. Anyone ready to have that huge class reunion?!! I am.
I love to:
Lay in bed and watch movies, especially on a cloudy, rainy day.
I always wanted to be a singer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right, but it just didn't work out for me, however I am working on becoming a songwriter..
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have prayer, morals, and money to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
God is my hero and besides him he blessed me with my parents. May they rest in peace.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is: can't name just one. ., because I had a lot of special friends.
I love: Music, Music, Music and oh yeah Music!!
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my basement and bedrooms and add on a patio connected to my bedroom. My dream home would be huge!.
Kids are smarter than you think. It's true, they learn by example. All they want is structure and love.
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to my church, charities, then spend the rest on my music career, myse...Expand for more
lf and family.
My current age is 35. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be still playing with toys, instead they are trying to act like adults too soon. I was so completely different and I loved school..
Within the next 5 years I pray that I am a: Successful songwriter
My best friend would tell you I'm sweet and friendly, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as stuck up.
No I don't quite wear the same things as 10/20 years ago, but some of the styles worn then has come back in style. Life is just a circle.
I share my home with my husband and kids, which I find very exciting, there's never a dull moment.
In 10 years, I hope to be writing music for a lot of big name artists and producers. I'm going to get there by continuing to work hard on my skill and most importantly praying. .
My first job was at Mcdonalds of course, where I got paid I don't even remember how much but it was minimum (very minimum wage) to serve customers. What I remember most about it is the staff was great. We had soooo much fun. .
Remembering my mother and father. And living in a household with 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The crazy things my oldest brother, Ricky used to do.
