Valerie's Story
Well, here goes nothing... I moved to Montana Jan.'08 after living in Elizabeth Lake for 20 years where I was a hairstylist before I went back to school and got my AA then a BA in English then my teaching credential in English for 7th - 12th grades. I married but no kids. My husband died in '05 and then my father died in '07 (a couple of rough years). I couldn't afford the house anymore on my own so...I sold it before the market totally crapped out and moved to Montana. I bought a house here for me and my animal family 1 cat, 3 dogs and 1 horse. a company that makes postcards, greeting & birthday cards and novelty items (couldn't find a teaching position and jobs are few and far between here). I take my small dog to work everyday and life is good. Can't complain, I look out at beautiful mountains, cross rivers on my way to work and see deer and other wildlife everyday. In my spare time I kayak, swim, ride my horse (though that's not her in the pic) or quad, fish, hike, read, knit, cook and whatever else sounds like fun. Figured out that life is too short to not enjoy it!:-)
