Dena's Story
The most important part of my world is being a mom to three wonderful children! My oldest son is 20 and graduated in 2006. Technically, he lives at home but we rarely see him since he works a full-time job and volunteers with two fire departments. My 10 year old son has an absolute heart of gold and is interested in anything to do with space, stars, and planets. My daughter is 8 years old, loves to play with Barbie's and is very artistic. n plays baseball; and my daughter is involved in gymnastics, has done dance, and played baseball for the first time last year.
I believe very strongly in being at home to raise my children and made the decision to become a registered family childcare provider so I can be home for my children while I earn a living to support them. I enjoy my job very much (most days) and get just as much excitement as the children when they learn something new and their eyes light up.
In my "spare" time, I volunteer with the fire department as a Firefighter/EMT-B.
