Denise's Story
HI. I moved to Anchorage Alaska in 1981, worked for the government for awhile and stayed in the beautiful state for 5 years. Left there, moving to San Diego county where husband no. 2 and I started up a trucking company. That lasted 5 years then I jumped on my harley, put a trailer on behind and my rottweiler, Pete, and I traveled around the 11 western states for a summer.
Divorce no 2 was immeninent. That done I moved back to Beaverton, got a job driving over the road leased to Werner Enterprises. Traveled all over the country and was paid to do so...married no. 3, moved back to Oregon in the Roseburg area. Oakland actually. Went back ...Expand for more
to school there at Umpqua Community. Divorced no. 3, moved to Colorado and started driving for a cement company where I met husband no. 4 and so far there's not been a 4th divorce.
Helping to raise 3 girls, 3 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a guinea pig. Life is full. I've been working for Paychex for the last 7 years.
Both parents have passed. My little brother Robbie was killed in a car accident in '81. One brother is in Orlando and the other two I haven't heard from for quite some time.
Would love to hear other life stories. Mine's been a fabulous adventure so far.
Would love to move back to Portland area, it'll always be home...
