Denise's Story
My interest in art continued through my years at Hunter College (Park Ave.) and I graduated with a BFA. While there I joined the Varsity Swimming Team also. Hunter was great. Lots of hob nobbing with artists like Tony Smith, William Baziotes, etc.
In terms of work and career -- I did a detour before finally getting into my real love -- graphic design.
I just had to try "business" -- wanted to see what it was like. Became a market research analyst and worked for several big Ad Agencies. Had my own office in what was then the Pam Am building. Wore the expensive suits, ya da ya da.

t happy and finally got into graphics and illustration which I adore.
Worked for Macmillan Publishing for years -- also designed book covers on a freelance basis.
Currently I am on the side lines as I am dealing with the annoyance of Chronic Fatigue, but I beieve I will be back doing graphics and illustrating in the near future.
Have never been married, but am very happy. Still live in Manhattan and love where I live.
One fabulous feline at home now -- Chloe the wonder cat.
Miss playing tennis and swimming, but hope to be back at these things in the future.
Remember my days at Mary Louis and Hunter fondly.
