Life
I received my certification in Travel & Tourism from Southeastern Academy and went on to work for the Hyatt Regency Princeton as the Concierge Supervisor. I left the Hyatt to persue my education. I graduated from Widener University with a BS in Hotel & Restaurant Management. I was the Founding Vice President of our national sorority, Phi Mu, Phi Epsilon chapter, and the RA of our campus-owned house. Upon graduation I worked as an F&B supervisor for the Showboat in Atlantic City. I won the title of Supervisor of the Year in 1994. I then went on to work at the Sands in AC. ager. After 10 years in the casino biz, I wanted a change. So I put my condo on the beach up for rent and moved down to Florida. 17 years later, I went back with Hyatt, living 5 blocks away, only this time it was the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables, overseeing room service and the restaurant. After working there for about 4 months, I got a better job with the Marriott. I first started in Hotel Operations, over seeing Houskeeping and the Front Desk. I worked there as the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, over seeing the restaurant, room service, and the bar. After that, I worked as the In Room Dining Manager at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa Marriott, overseeing In Room Dining, Mini Bar and Java Zone (Starbucks).
