Denise's Story
Life
After graduating from NLU, I taught in several schools in North Louisiana. I have been married for 25 years. We have two daughters Sarah who lives and works in SC and Erin who graduated from Johnson and Wales University in Charleston, SC with a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts and now lives in NC. . We relocated to Lancaster County, PA when my husband accepted the job of Senior Quality Assurance Manager covering the northeast region, for a newsprint company. I am currently teaching a Pre-Kindergarten class and I plan and conduct nutrition workshops and nutrition programs. Someday I plan to compile all of the materials into a book or guide for child care providers who participate in the Child Care Food Program.
