For anyone who wonders "what ever happened to Denise", here's my story for the past 15 or so years. In 1992 I dropped out of High School, because I was really messed up from a very "colorful" childhood. On February, 15 1993, my step-father died from a drug overdose. This sent my mother into a very deep depression, that would ultimately cause the aggrevation of her COPD and on July 15, 1996 take her life. In the summer of 1993 I realized that dropping out of school was a HUGE mistake so I asked if I could return and was gratiously granted permission. At first I did very well, however old habits die hard and I had a D average by graduation, barely passing by the skin of my teeth.
